A little bit about me...

B.A. Keating is the author of middle grade novels, Tales from the Land of Forever, The Academy, The Wood at the Bottom of the Garden Gate, and The Last Pirate. 

Before embarking on a career writing books, Beverley trained as a classical ballet dancer in London, England for 15 years, and attended several prestigious schools and colleges in pursuit of her craft.   

Born on a chilly November evening in Essex, England, from a young age she enjoyed traveling and exploring all across the globe (always with a book  firmly clasped in hand).  Beverley is fortunate enough to have lived on three continents, and has been able to call both Auckland, New Zealand and The Algarve, Portugal home.  She currently lives in Northern California.

Beverley absolutely adores animals (she is a pet-parent to 8 rescue cats #adoptdontshop).  Her other loves and hobbies include reading, watching movies, travelling, and eating lots and lots of pizza.  Beverley is a Reading Partner Tutor at a local elementary school.
